Official opening times

1. Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00AM~17:00PM (ticket sales: 09:00-16:30)

2. Closed on:

  • Every Monday (open on national holidays)
  • Chinese New Year’s Eve, Chinese New
    Year and Election days
  • Non-working day declared by the
    Government due to a natural disaster
  • Other days announced by the museum

1. Permanent Exhibition and Kid’s Land:

  1. Special exhibition hall: the admission fee will be adjusted according to the exhibit content and nature, the fee structure is based on announcements made by the museum.
  1. No refunds or exchanges for tickets sold.
Admission regulations
  1. Visitors can enter the permanent exhibition area more than once by having your hand stamped at the 1st floor exit then queuing again at the entrance.
  2. Only 20 persons per minute are permitted to enter the permanent exhibition to avoid overcrowding.
  3. No smoking, chewing of betel nut or gum is allowed.
  4. No pets allowed (except guide dogs).
  5. No umbrellas allowed (please store foldable umbrellas in your backpack).
  6. No beverages and food are allowed in the exhibition venue.
  7. No flashlight allowed in the exhibition venue.
  8. No running, playing or shouting allowed in the museum.
  9. Please store large personal items in a locker.
  10. The handicapped elevator is reserved for the disabled. (A maximum of two companions are allowed to take the elevator with the disabled person.)

Park regulations

  1. The driveway at the entrance of the museum is reserved for dropping off passengers only, any illegally parked cars will be towed.
  2. It is strictly prohibited to climb the wall and fence of the museum building or the Wushi reef in the park area.
  3. No BBQ, fishing, playing in the water or lighting fireworks allowed.
  4. No fruit picking is allowed in the park area.
  5. No littering or public urination is allowed.
  6. No street vendors are allowed (violators will be prosecuted).
